Charles De Giorgio Ltd. Has established itself over recent years, as a leading distribution company for healthcare, household and beauty products in Malta. The company has grown rapidly over the last years. This growth is reflected by what is developing internationally, with a number. of mergers and acquisitions. This has resulted in a number of new distribution agreements with CDG ltd. as the preferred partner in Malta. The company comprises of 3 business units:
- The Healthcare Division, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, equipment, and wound care. The company represents a number of global companies including: Sanofi, Europe’s No1 pharmaceutical company, Eli Lilly of USA, Lundbeck, Siemens Healthineers of Germany, Draeger and Abbott Vascular among others.
- The Beauty Division includes the American company Revlon and John Frieda Haircare. The company has its own beauty advisors, and regularly organizes PR events and launch meetings.
- The Household Division handles Reckitt Benckiser, which is a global force in household cleaning, health and personal care products. The brands include Dettol, Pif Paf, Finish, Harpic and Vanish. The company maintains a strong in-store presence, ably executed by a team of merchandisers.

LOGISTICS
The company has a state-of -the-art IT system which enables us to accurately forecast our stock requirements and stock management. The company has its own distribution set up covering Malta and Gozo with a fleet of delivery vans offering a daily delivery service.
WAREHOUSING
Charles de Giorgio is now operating from a new distribution centre consisting of 4000 square metres of floor space. It has separate warehousing for pharmaceuticals, beauty products, medical devices and household products, and totally compliant to EU Good Distribution Practice, and temperature controlled at all times.
SALES & MARKETING
The sales force are the heart of the company! They are what makes the company beat and grow. Staff development is given utmost importance which in turn keeps motivation high, bringing in higher sales and continued growth. The company has its team of pharmacists as medical representatives calling on all doctors on a daily basis. We pride ourselves in empowering every person at all levels within our organization and to effectively perform as a team.
RELABELLING
The Company also has an in-house relabelling facility for pharmaceuticals, which is licensed by the Malta Medicines Authority. The Facility provides for, Overprinting, OverLabelling and Package Insert replacement
SERVICING
The Servicing Department is dedicated to maintain the smooth running of installed equipment. Our Customer Service Engineers are trained overseas, and keep abreast with the latest technological advances. We have successfully completed turnkey projects including the Radiology Dept at St Philip’s Hospital, the Catheterisation Lab at St James Hospital, the CT at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, the PETCT at St James Hospital and the CT & MRI at Da Vinci Hospital.”
REGULATORY AFFAIRS QUALITY UNIT
The company also has a dedicated Regulatory and Pharmacovigilance Unit. This unit is responsible for Good Distribution Practice (GDP) according to EU regulations. It also oversees all regulatory affairs for products handled by the company.
HUMAN RESOURCES
The Company has an HR Department to handle daily staff / work issues, co-ordinate man power, manage employee life cycle, maintain employee relations, labour law compliance, organizing team building activities, fleet management, handle health and all company insurance policies.
